At Nestig, we design nursery products with safety always top of mind. We’re excited to share that our best selling cribs have achieved GREENGUARD Gold Certification! Your GREENGUARD Gold certified Nestig cribs contribute to a delightful and safe nursery for everyday magic. Learn more below!
GREENGUARD Certification is a program by Underwriter Laboratories Solutions, a company that aims to promote safe, secure and sustainable living environments through product testing for chemical emissions. Standard GREENGUARD Certified products are put through scientific testing and screening for more than 10,000 chemical emissions and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that may impact indoor air quality.
Our cribs have achieved the highest tier of GREENGUARD certification: Gold! GREENGUARD Gold Certified products are tested against a more stringent testing standard and are proven to emit low levels of chemicals. Your family can breathe easy, play, and rest knowing that your Nestig crib does not introduce harmful chemical emissions to your nursery!
What Nestig cribs are GREENGUARD Gold certified?
We are hard at work to gain GREENGUARD Gold Certification for the Island Wave crib, Palm crib and new forthcoming crib styles. While these crib styles have yet to be GREENGUARD Gold certified, rest assured that each of our cribs meet or exceed safety standards by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International), are Prop 65 compliant, and are certified non-toxic by the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA). In addition to GREENGUARD Gold Certification, we’ve tested and certified all of our cribs with the JPMA. While GREENGUARD certifications focus on testing for chemical emissions, JPMA verifies that product safety meets federal, state, ASTM International and major retailer requirements. JPMA also tests for VOCs, phthalates, lead, cadmium, and mercury.
Moreover, Nestig meets and exceeds the safety standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and ASTM International — most recently, the ASTM F1169-19, ASTM F406-19 and ASTM F1821-19 standards.
