This toddler room is sure to swoon lovers of art and architecture. We can't get enough of the statement wall reminiscent of the Eames House, decor inspired by artist Yoshitomo Nara, and flair for mid-century modern elements.
Content creator Karina Solis gives us a tour of her masterpiece of a nursery.
I'm a passionate new mommy with a deep love for interior design and fashion. Balancing motherhood with my creative pursuits in design and style is both a challenge and a joy.
My vision was a blend of Yoshitomo Nara's whimsical art and mid-century modern aesthetics, taking cues from the iconic Eames house.
I wanted to create a playful yet stylish space, rich in colors and accented with mid-century modern elements. It was important for the nursery to be fun and inviting, a place of inspiration and creativity for my baby.

The standout feature is definitely the accent wall, inspired by Charles Eames designs. My husband put his heart into creating it, and it's a beautiful focal point that ties the room together.
- Opt for convertible furniture that grows with your child.
- Incorporate interactive elements like a low bookshelf for easy access to books and toys.
- Introduce more vibrant colors and textures to stimulate your toddler's senses and imagination.
- Ensure the room is safe for a toddler's explorations, with secured furniture and ample play space.
The Yoshitomo Nara skateboards in the nursery are very special. They were a thoughtful gift for our son, Ryo, and they perfectly capture the playful yet stylish vibe we wanted. They are a beautiful piece of art that we hope Ryo will grow to appreciate.
Our most magical moments involve sitting with Ryo at his little table, exploring the world of drawing and reading together. These simple, quiet times are filled with wonder and joy.
